Been to the cinema
January 22nd, 2009 by AndyThis evening we saw ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, an excellent film that wove the lives of two brothers into an episode of the Indian edition of ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire?’.
The cinematography, mainly based in Mumbai, was excellent with many moody ’snapshots’ of life and scenery. Although many devasting social scenes are shown - pimps, child exploitation, race riots, etc. the overall impression was of an exhilerating modern city.
Great story, well told - a good night out.
